The 1860 villa originally had a room layout. Over time, the building had been converted into three apartments, which meant that the original structure was lost. On the basis of historical research, we have traced back and restored the original room structure in the building. The facades, window frames, interior walls, floors and ceilings have been restored. Various architectural interventions have been determined in close consultation with the Historic Buildings Agency. In a few months the monumental villa was restored and converted into an office.

The wish of SNS Reaal Fund was to work in an inspiring open environment where communication is possible. The workspaces are not personal, but activity-related and therefore flexible. The rooms each have their own atmosphere, the chosen furniture and fixtures are different for each location. The art that the client has added makes the building a personal office, where the identity of the user is visible.
