There used to be an inner harbor with storehouses on the Bokkingshang in Deventer. The water is gone, but the buildings still remind us of this. They are built for storage of, among other things, bucking, salted herring. We transformed one of these warehouses into four apartments and a shop / workspace on behalf of Wonen boven Shops. The entrance to the workspace is located on Bokkingshang. For the apartments we have realized a private entrance with storage facilities at the rear of the building. To get enough daylight into the houses, modern window frames have been added to the historic architecture. To the right of the warehouse was a small patch of land. On the ground floor, this is an extra area of the store. For the apartments we were able to realize beautiful spacious balconies above, with a view of the IJssel from the upper balcony.
