For the regional offices of Enexis in Maastricht, Venlo, and Zwolle, Studio Groen+Schild designed a sustainable and flexible interior. The new working environment encourages knowledge sharing and meeting. Open, closed, and secluded workspaces alternate with each other. Making employees aware of sustainable use was one of the key focuses of the design. Monitors display how much energy the building generates and consumes. Sustainable materials, LED lighting with motion sensors, and intelligent sun shading result in a low ecological footprint. All three offices have received a BREEAM Excellent certification.
